Built from Nairobi, shaped by the realities of shipping.
Sankara Labs began with a frustration: too many agencies sell decks, not systems. Too many teams ship prototypes and call them products. We wanted to build differently — from the reality of emerging markets, where latency, flaky networks, and payment rails aren't edge cases. They're Monday morning.
We assembled a team of quality-vetted engineers who had shipped production systems at scale — in fintech, AI, logistics, and infrastructure — and built a studio around one principle: the person scoping your system is the one who builds it.
Today, we partner with founders and teams across Africa, Europe, MEA, and North America. We stay small on purpose — because vetted hands and direct accountability are hard to fake.
