§ 03 — RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities.

  • Architected and led development across the full platform: API, web (Next.js), and mobile (React Native)
  • Built onboarding, content feed, community chat, and personalised recommendation features
  • Integrated Apple and Google authentication, push notifications, and analytics
  • Established CI/CD pipeline and managed PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis across environments
§ 04 — CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS

What we had to solve.

Parents arrive tired and distracted — we had to make the feed feel calm and the recommendations useful without any heavy lift. We invested in a feedback loop so content surfacing improved with each release instead of waiting for a v2. Balancing a NestJS API serving both a Next.js web app and a React Native mobile client without duplicating business logic was the core architectural constraint we solved early.
