Daily DogFights is a golf companion app that makes competitive rounds more social and organized — handling live scorecards, group game creation, betting formats like skins and wolf, and automatic payout calculations so nobody argues over who owes what.

Key responsibilities.
- Built real-time scorecard engine with per-player, per-hole tracking across a group
- Implemented betting format logic (skins, wolf, side bets) with automatic payout resolution
- Developed GPS-powered course discovery and handicap integration for fair scoring
- Designed invite and game-management flows so players can join a round in seconds
§ 04 — CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS
What we had to solve.
Golf scoring is group-dependent by nature — every player's card is tied to everyone else's round. We built a real-time sync layer so scores propagate across all devices instantly, while the betting engine resolves multi-format payouts behind the scenes. Players get a clean 'who owes who' screen at the end; the math is invisible.
